River of Art

River of Art is a valuable resource for active and aspiring creatives seeking to navigate the unpredictable flow of creativity. Partly through memoir, this book offers wisdom and creative guidance for cultivating your creative voice and moving forward with confidence, even when creativity is blocked.
Validation as an artist does not require you to become rich or famous. You can be successful, enrich your life and the lives of others by sharing what is meaningful to you. Creativity is within the reach of anyone. Art reminds us of the importance of connection to each other and to nature. Music, poetry, and other art forms can be powerful tools to help raise awareness of issues that are important to us.
Artist Marian Osher writes about how her life experiences transformed her art, leading to deep personal growth. Through artwork and real-life stories, she shares how life on the River of Art can push us to experiment, to take risks, and to have fun.
Marian Osher is a painter, printmaker, and mixed-media artist. Her 30 solo shows include 6 shows in NYC. In addition to her fine arts experience, she has worked as a graphic designer and taught art classes.
